AN-NUR HARAPAN SDN BHD OFFERS SCHOLARSHIP FOR UNIKLEARN PROGRAMME

AN-NUR HARAPAN SDN BHD will be giving out scholarship opportunities for the UnikLearn Programme.

The UnikLearn programme is a vocational training and internship programme designed by professional therapists for autistic youths with the overarching mission to empower young adults with autism towards independence and be contributing members of the community. The fully-funded scholarship programme by AN-NUR HARAPAN SDN BHD is open to Bruneian citizens aged 16 and above diagnosed within the autism spectrum disorder or any other related developmental delays.

The UnikLearn programme aims to empower young autistic adults towards independent living by

• Providing personalized and individually tailored programmes for autistic youths;
• Working on skills needed towards employability;
• Enhancing social skills and personal interaction; and
• Offering on-site job training and facilities whilst in the programme

The UnikLearn scholarship programme provides trainees with autism and other related developmental disorders the option to attend the UnikLearn training and internship programme with full funding for a period of 6 months. The programme covers intensive training and skills building on key skills area made by experienced therapists and advisors. Upon completion of their training, the youth in the programme will be provided with on-the-job training under the Unikkone ice cream initiative. The clients will also receive post-training support, including work transition support for subsequent internship or work opportunities.
